Responsibilities

• The employee will integrate the OINIS IT team which oversees designing, implementing and operating software tools that supports Orange international services for enterprises.
• OINIS is operating and selling Satellite related services to its B2B customers over the world and uses notably web tools for this.
• The consultant will be in charge of the development, pre-production and production environments. He will have to ensure a good quality of the service, by maintaining the code of the different software components.
• The mission includes both service platform administration and software development.
• The consultant will be in contact of the Satellite Factory and will have to answer to business needs that have impacts in the web service platform, by configuring or adding the needed new features.
• The employee will join the OBS backbone network engineering team, with complex but rich topics. It is a very dynamic team in international environment, with many senior experts in IT and software.

Skill Profile

• Software engineer, with experience in software development in PHP/MySQL,Javascript and Python.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle: specification, development and testing.

Orange Restricted

• Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices: Agile, Devops.
• He/she is able to manage the integration of diverse software components in order to make an efficient end-to-end solution.
• Understanding of IT environment and flow of information between systems (API, FTP, SSH).
• He/she must be familiar with Linux (Debian, Redhat) OS, shell scripting and basic Linux administration (SSH, crontab, chmod etc.)

The technical environment includes:

• Software development: PHP/MySQL, Javascript, Python, Linux Shell scripting.
• OS: mainly Linux shell (Debian)
• Virtualization: he/she should be familiar with Virtual Machine usage with VMware and Container hosting
• Networks: basic TCP/IP

Languages: good written and spoken levels in both English and French are necessary.
