Orange Business Services manages and integrates the complexity of international

Responsibilities
The employee will integrate an IT specialized department which oversees designing,
implementing and operating software tools that supports Orange international services
for enterprises.
Regarding the business behind this need, Orange is operating and selling network
services, based on its backbone networks. These assets enable Orange Business to sell
connectivity services to its B2B and wholesale customers over the world. Orange uses
notably Web tools for operating these networks and “SARDI” is one of them.
SARDI constitutes the shared network reference database. The application manages the
network production process. It allows installation documents to be created and the
operational equipment interventions to be scheduled on the backbone networks.
The consultant will be in charge of the development, pre-production and production
environments. He will have to ensure a good quality of the service, by maintaining the
code of the different software components.
The mission includes both software development and service platform administration.
The consultant will be in contact with the French entreprise network team and will have
to answer to their business needs that have impacts in the web service platform, by
configuring or adding the needed new features
Profile recherché
Software engineer, with experience in software development.
- Technologies:
o Languages: C#, Javascript, Visual Basic 6
o Web: CSS, HTML,
o Web server: Microsoft IIS 10, Apache
o Frameworks: .NET Framework, Angular
o Database: SQL and T-SQL
o OS: Microsoft Windows Server, Linux
o REST API, Postman
- Knowledge of software development life cycle: specification, development and
testing.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices: Agile,
Devops.
- He/she is able to manage the integration of diverse software components in
order to make an efficient end-to-end solution.
- Understanding of IT environment and flow of information between systems (API,
FTP, SSH).
- He/she must be familiar with Windows Server and Linux (Debian, Redhat) OS,
shell scripting and basic Linux administration (SSH, crontab, chmod etc.)
The technical environment includes:
- Software development and integration
- OS: mainly Windows Server and Linux (Debian)
- Virtualization: he/she should be familiar with Virtual Machine and Container
usage with VMware, Virtualbox or HyperV hosting
- Networks: basic TCP/IP
Languages: good written and spoken levels in both French and English are necessary.
