This is an exciting opportunity where you will be responsible to oversee /support country Core Medical Plan (CMP) execution and ensure implementation of MA strategies in line with MEA regional medical strategies.

In addition, endorse company science-driven partnership and collaboration with medical communities and academic institutions in the country. You will be responsible for second level interface of medical affairs with Key External Experts and Healthcare Organizations. Your role will be reporting directly into the Head of Medical Affairs, Maghreb.

Key Activities:

• Build and maintain a good network with key external stakeholder to promote Astellas’ science driven partnership and collaboration with medical communities and academic institutions ;
• Develop country-based Medical Plans in alignment with regional brand medical strategy ;
• A Key expert for scientific knowledge to country company staff and advises other business areas on medical and scientific matters as required ;
• Facilitate and support formulary enlisting and reimbursement activities ;
• Maintain up to date knowledge on relevant Astellas’ quality documents (POLs, SOPs, WPDs) as well as external applicable regulations.
  

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

• Proven MNC experience in Pharmaceutical industry in Medical Affairs experience ;
• Preferably knowledgeable within Oncology. Experience in other specialty areas relevant to Astellas such as Urology, Hematology, will also be looked at ;
• Fluency in English, Arabic and French written and spoken ;
• Excellent communicative and able to develop and maintain good working relations with internal and external stakeholders ;
• Able to understand and anticipate customers’ needs and takes action to provide high quality services.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

• Ability to work independently and engage with excellent communication skill ;
• Medical doctor is an asset ;
• Previous experience in the country of responsibility is an asset.

Educations/Qualifications:

• Medically qualified personnel (MD, Pharma D and Master in science) or equivalent.

Additional information:

• This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time contract ;
• The position is based in Casablanca, Morocco ;
• This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of 50% home and a minimum 50% field based. 30% domestic travel is expected in line with your role.
