Join the team, PHOVA Technology is looking for its Regional Business Development Director for Africa & Middle East to ensure full satisfaction of our customers.

Missions:

In the region of Africa & Middle East, the regional business development director will be responsible in this area for:
• Identifying and prioritizing opportunities for market expansion within Middle East & Africa (MEA) region
• Driving sales pipelines regarding opportunities, projects, managing quotations and forecasts, and negotiation of terms and contracts
• Proposing and converging on market level pricing with other sales areas, the global strategy, the financial teams
• Designing growth strategies to actively pursue new market opportunities
• Contributing to worldwide sourcing of reliable suppliers for machinery components (both as input to the finished products and as spare parts)
• Supporting the product management, engineering, and manufacturing teams in delivering high quality products customized to the needs of the MEA region customers
• Developing a strategy, marketing plans to achieve targeted short term and long-term business outcomes including strategic and financial performance objectives to grow the business in the MEA region
• Developing, researching, analyzing market and internal data to bring support to corporate strategy to develop a marketing strategy for the development and growth including defining market value preposition, market/customer analysis, trends, market development activities
• Supporting management to lead change and drive for a real impact and develop strong value preposition for market specific offerings
• Defining and implement product line short- and long-term strategies to optimize sales, profit and market development
• Supporting for the annual steering committee and strategic planning process, and preparation of materials for management
• Building and maintain a strong network and relationships with customers, partners, major players in the industry, relevant authorities and potential business partners and suppliers
• Establishing high level contacts with potential customers and provide assistance to sales team’s projects to win strategic and profitable business
• Establishing Key Performance Indicators for Development for dashboards, reportings, on time proposals, quality and support for products and services to sales, increase hit-rate on run-rate, projects, analyzing the conversion from abandon to opportunity
• Organizing and participating to technical forums in order to promote products, services and technologies
• Managing a business development team in order to realize short and long term objectives

Required profile:

  • Experience: Over 10 years of experience in a similar position and in industrial pumps, other industrial equipments are a plus
  • Master degree from a business school or a school of engineering
  • MBA is a plus
  • Any referral will be greatly appreciated
  • Good in Office and software applications
  • Fluent in French, English and any other language is a plus
