GENERAL MISSION OF THE POSITION:
The Head of Finance will be responsible for structuring and managing the accounting and billing services for Phova Technology. They will also prepare financial statements for internal performance management and for the company's board of directors. In addition to managing day-to-day financial operations, the Head of Finance will present financial statements in the performance management and board of directors meetings. The Head of Finance will also be responsible for building and managing a finance team and providing strategic financial guidance to the company.
MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Structure and manage accounting and billing services
Prepare financial statements for internal performance management and for the board of directors
Manage day-to-day financial operations
Present financial statements in steering committee and board meetings
Organize meetings, prepare minutes, and communicate with board members
Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures
Provide financial guidance and support to the management team
Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
Ensure that financial records are accurate and comply with relevant Moroccan regulations and laws
Build and manage a finance team
Provide strategic financial guidance to the company
PERFORMANCE KPIs:
Timely and accurate preparation of financial statements
Meeting or exceeding budgeted financial performance
Identifying and implementing cost savings measures
Compliance with tax laws and regulations
Financial reports and analysis presented on time
Effective communication with the management team and board of directors
Building and managing a high-performing finance team
Providing strategic financial guidance that contributes to the company's overall success
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, in a B2B environment
Strong knowledge of accounting and financial management principles and practices
Experience in preparing financial statements and presenting them to a board of directors
Experience in managing accounting and billing services
Experience in cost savings measures
Experience in tax compliance
Experience as Secretary of a board of directors is a plus
Experience in building and managing a finance team
Experience in providing strategic financial guidance to a company
