The Industrial IT Expert oversees the operational maintenance of computer stations integral to the production process in our global workshops. This role necessitates adaptability in a dynamic environment and close collaboration with nacelle production teams. The expert ensures compliance with the company's IT and security policies while maintaining an optimal service level for these critical computer stations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Maintenance:
- Address and resolve complex or non-standard incidents.
- Analyze recurring incidents to improve handling procedures and prevent future occurrences.
- Support Level 1 and Level 2 teams in resolving incidents.
- Develop and update installation and configuration procedures for Safran Nacelles-specific equipment and applications.
- Integrate new industrial computer stations.
Security:
- Ensure computer stations comply with Safran's IT and security policies, including applying necessary patches.
- Report on security risks and vulnerabilities
Interaction with Industrial Management:
- Offer tailored support to users of industrial facilities at all global locations.
- Participate in reviews of business-related issues.
- Identify and implement improvements within the competence center's scope.
- Maintain and update relevant documentation.
- Develop dashboards for activity monitoring.
- Engage in technology surveillance and stay updated on relevant advancements.
Profile recherché
Prerequisites for the Position:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in industrial IT support, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in managing industrial computer systems, understanding of network infrastructure, and familiarity with industrial automation systems.
- Security Knowledge: Strong grasp of IT security principles and experience in applying security patches and measures in an industrial context
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to handle complex IT issues, particularly in an industrial setting.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills may be advantageous depending on the global locations
