Job Summary:
The Junior Policy Analyst at UM6Pwill support the research policy lead. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent research skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with different stakeholders within the University. The Junior Policy Analyst will contribute to the development and implementation of reserch policy initiatives, assist in conducting research, and provide valuable insights and recommendations to inform decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on various research policy issues, legislation, regulations, and best practices.
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and potential impacts.
- Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of existing policies and programs.
- Support senior analysts in developing policy recommendations based on research findings.
- Policy Development and Implementation:
- Contribute to the development of policy proposals, frameworks, and guidelines.
- Assist in drafting policy documents, briefs, reports, and presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure policy coherence and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Assist in conducting consultations and engaging with stakeholders to gather input and feedback on policy initiatives.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and conferences related to policy development and analysis.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of their perspectives and requirements.

- University degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or a related field.
