The objective of QA Cloud Engineer is to make sure that delivered product is matching the specifications, requirements as well as the group standards (security, audit...) by applying the
principles and best practices of software quality assurance.
In this mission the consultant will:
Maintain up to date documentation about automation tests
• Contributing to the creation of detailed test cases for manual execution (x-ray, Jira)
• Assisting in the execution and validation of new features and functional regression coverage.
• Helping to identify and report defects, supporting the team in their resolution.
• Providing support to end users through the developer support channel and contributing to documentation.
• Ensuring that assigned project deliverables meet quality objectives in functionality, usability, and basic regression testing.
• Participating in documenting test cases, POC and outcomes within a test case management application for future reference
Profile recherché
Expertise & Requirements :
- University degree with proven experience in software quality assurance (2–4 years)
- 2–5 years of experience in Cloud Testing, specifically in Microsoft Azure
Azure Services Expertise :
- Hands-on experience with Azure services: Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, ARM templates
- Strong understanding of Azure networking: VNet, DNS zones, NSGs, routing
- Experience testing backup, recovery, and disaster recovery scenarios in Azure
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) :
- Solid understanding of IaC with tools like Terraform or ARM templates
- Practical expertise with Terraform, GitHub Actions, Terragrunt, Terratest, Azure SDK, and Go (Golang)
CI/CD & DevOps :
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI
- Understanding of cloud deployment workflows and automation best practices
Security and Compliance :
- Awareness of security best practices for Azure environments
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in cloud-based infrastructure
Monitoring and Logging :
- Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, Azure Application Insights, and Azure Defender for evaluating health and performance
Quality Assurance & Agile :
- Strong grasp of QA best practices, ISTQB certification preferred
- Comfortable in Agile/Scrum environments
- Fluent in English (mandatory)
Technical Environment :
- Strong object-oriented programming and REST API knowledge
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Selenium, TestNG, Maven or similar
- Knowledge of Terraform, Azure SDKs, GitHub Actions
- Ability to operate in a global, multicultural, matrixed environment
