Technical Platform Manager

The manager will oversee the JUACS learning platform and own the associated processes, governance, and ongoing queries. He/she will be the JUACS expert to effectively advise on and deliver impactful learning experiences for the JUACS Community.

Function Description:

  • Mentoring and building a strong technical team
  • Planning the whole execution effectively
  • Working closely with the academic team to define the strategy and goals of each release and prioritizing the roadmap
  • Decomposing business requirements into User Stories and functional requirements, specified in an appropriate level of detail suitable for use by those must base their work on the requirements, including architecture, development, and testing
  • Participating in peer reviews and inspections of requirements artifacts
  • Managing the planning of Platform Releases by ensuring design, planning, and scheduling of releases is according to the overall program roadmap and release calendar
  • Managing delivery against that roadmap to deliver high quality with high efficiency

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage project management tools and processes to lead and manage project
  • Accountable for introduction, alignment and maintenance of the platform’s specific Release Calendar
  • Leadership to engineering personnel in the Platform structures and has responsibility to set strategy and vision for this organization
  • Other functional areas to plan, maintain and deploy platform software
  • Improve processes to deliver results with quality and according to schedule
  • Align processes, goals, and priorities with the different stakeholders
  • Work with the production team to ensure smooth and seamless productions
Profile recherché

Education:

Engineer or a Master’s Degree in Computer Science.

Languages requirement:

FR (Fluent) – EN (Fluent).

Skills:

  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working on deadlines and can demonstrate sound time management and critical thinking skills.
  • An eye on continuous improvement.

Technical Skills:

HTML, Processes, Software, Systems, Transactions specifications, MS office, Project management.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of related media research experience (3+ minimum in digital).
