Join the team, PHOVA Technology is looking for its business operations manager to ensure full satisfaction of our customers.

The Business Operations Manager will have the overall responsibility of managing teams, resources, and interfaces with other teams to ensure the provision of high-quality industrial services related to Machinery Engineering and maintenance, meet internal and external customer service levels, and operational KPIs. The Manager will develop and implement service and team strategy plans and goals in collaboration with other teams/customers, coach and train the team, review business performance metrics, provide governance and resolution support, and implement and drive documentation and reporting of key metrics and results. Additionally, the Manager will be accountable for the Profit & Loss (P&L) and ensure financial targets are met or exceeded, while also ensuring that profitability and efficiency are key objectives of the department.

  • Manage the relationship with clients directly to ensure their needs are met and build strong customer relationships
  • Accountable for Profit and Loss (P&L) of the department, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded through effective resource management, cost control, and revenue growth strategies
  • Manage professional employees and/or supervisors or supervises large, complex technical or business support or production operations team(s)
  • Accountable for the performance and results of a team within own discipline or function
  • Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
  • Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, and business plan; receives guidance from senior manager
  • Provides technical guidance to operators, teams’ supervisors, employees, colleagues and customers
  • Accountable for results of the sites operations teams
  • Exercises limited management authority; sets employee performance objectives, conducts performance reviews and recommends pay actions
  • Defines team operating standards and ensures essential procedures are followed based on knowledge of own discipline

As the Business Operations Manager, the primary focus will be on managing industrial sites across Morocco, such as Safi, Jorf Lasfar, Casablanca, Benguerir, Khouribga, Laayoun, Sidi Kacem, Tangier, and any additional client sites. The responsibilities will revolve around delivering exceptional industrial maintenance and engineering services, including full maintenance and operations contracts, as well as any other services related to industrial machinery.

Profile recherché

Required profiles:

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 7-10 years of experience in managing and leading teams in industrial maintenance and operations contracts, preferably in the Moroccan market.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing P&L, meeting financial targets, and driving profitability and efficiency related to industrial machinery, preferably pumps and valves.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both clients and internal teams.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing service and team strategy plans, as well as talent development and coaching.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to industrial maintenance, design and operations.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review business performance metrics and provide governance and resolution support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Fluency in English, French and Arabic is required.
