Reporting to the Manufacturing Line Manager, you are responsible for managing and training a production team in a greenfield manufacturing facility. Initially, you will focus on managing product industrialization activities, working closely with the Manufacturing Engineering team and support group members ensuring timely First Article Inspection deliverables. You will also be responsible to ensure smooth transition to production operations environment. You will be responsible for all employee management tasks, such as training, supervising, managing schedules, assigning tasks and evaluating employees. You will also be the contact person for internal and external customers as well as the point of contact for employees and management.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Supervise day-to-day manufacturing activities of CNC machined parts in a high technology industry.
• Develop an efficient team that is responsive to production requirements and changes and adopts a strong problem-solving culture.
• Collaborate with the management team to define and establish the product industrialization and production workflows and processes for the new facility.Oversee manufacturing operations (shop floor management, workforce management, and flow disruption management), interface with maintenance and scheduling personnel.
• Demonstrate clear focus on accountability to daily results, rapid identification of root cause and effective implementation of corrective actions.
• Control quality, productivity and process flow to meet customer satisfaction.
• Work diligently to address quality issues and engage the workforce in achieving industrialization and production goals.
• Ensure a world-class safety culture is maintained and respond to all EH&S requirements promptly.
• Host and take part in meetings with other managers.
• Help manage the budget.
• Lead new products introduction in collaboration with multiple stakeholders in line with parts development schedule.
• Support process definition activities and continuous improvements initiatives.

Key Qualifications and Requirement

Master's degree in State Engineer
More than 8 Years of experience in Manufacturing or industrial engineering and supervisory experience working with CNC parts manufacturing.
• Experience in manufacturing of mechanical components (turning, milling, deburring).

• Knowledge of the aerospace industry.
• Managing the production process while coordinating with other activity leaders such as Technical, Quality, and Engineering.
• Ability to make decisions with minimal supervision, goal setting, delegation, coaching, and motivating.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities.
• Focus on processes and results.
• Solid people management and uses good judgment to resolve conflict.
• Sense of ethics and respect.
• Ability to propose new and creative solutions.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Fluent in French and in English, both written and spoken.
• Good computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
