To enforce our team, we are looking to hire a Shopper Marketing Specialist.

As a Shopper Marketing Specialist, you will report to the shopper marketing manager and bring your support with the development of Trade & shopper Marketing long and short-term opportunities and strategies in category development by local market to achieve Volume and Net Sales targets.
The Shopper Marketing Specialist will play a key role in the implementation and monitoring of the shopper marketing strategies and priorities.

THE KEYS RESPONSABILITIES:

STRATEGIC CATEGORY DEVELOPMENT:
• Support Shopper marketing manager in developing category vision and cascade on channel level.
• Update Category Drivers with new products and initiatives launch.
• Generate new relevant shopper / channel insights.
• Support NPD launch preparation from Shopper marketing side: route to trade, selling story, OPEX KPIs.
• Ensure category development plans execution across the market.
STRATEGIC CUSTOMER DEVELOPMENT:
• Analyze sell-out data from distributors/partners to detect opportunities to make a proposal to increase category & brand sales per channel/customer
• Design assortment and shelving guidelines per channel to increase Company and Category profit
• Best practices sharing and selling stories creation.
PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITY:
• Support Shopper marketing manager in developing promo strategy per channel based on brand objectives and company financial KPIs
• Lead deployment of the group Promo products – promo SKUs, promo bundles, plant promo offers
• Lead on going promotional analysis, identifying what to stop, start or continue to maximise promotional effectiveness for the group and its customers.
OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE (OPEX):
• Deploy the Group Operational Excellence approach in the covered market: assortment and distribution guidelines and opportunities, shelf placement standards, promotional execution, and efficiency.
• Roll out OpEx KPIs for the Group brands and ensure tracking and monitoring is in place.
BUDGET MANAGEMENT:
• Report and Monitor trade marketing budget.
• Contribute to the key data to Annual Operation Plan (AOP).
• Negotiation skills towards external partners to focus on priorities while being within budget frame.

Profile recherché

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Minimum bachelor’s in business, economics or marketing.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Trade Marketing/Sales within a proven record of working collaboratively across functions.
  • Good understanding of the FMCG industry /principles
  • knowledge of Marketing & Finance
  • Excellent proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity
  • English & Frensh fluency
