Poste

Professional/Functional Responsibilities:

- Lead & Manage the Internal Logistics Department (Warehouse, Shipping Department) and Customs (Import – Export) Related Duties

Warehouse
• Ensure the efficient execution of the warehouse processes according to company standards.
• Drive continuous improvement to develop a world class Warehouse Team, processes, & results.
• Meet and exceed targets related to productivity, efficiency, costs (human resources, equipment, space, etc.), budget, customer on-time delivery performance.
• Meet and exceed all Health, Safety, & Environmental (HS&E) standards.

Shipping Department
• Ensure efficient transportation processes. Participate in the selection and evaluation of transport companies.
• Participate in decisions regarding the transport modes and route definition in order to achieve the best service, reliability, costs, etc.
• Regular analysis & optimization of transport related costs.
• Ensure proper customs related processes are developed and followed in accordance with governmental and regional legislative requirements to avoid compliance issues / fines and inbound & outbound transportation delays.
• Extensive knowledge and experience on different customs regimes, especially toll manufacturing, and temporary import/export of goods.
• Planning (budgeting) and continuous analyses & optimization of customs duty payments.
• Selection and evaluation of the companies providing customs clearance services (e.g. customs brokers).
• Lead the annual stock take / physical inventory.

- Lead & Manage Production Planning, Customer Service, & Materials Planning Departments

Production Planning Department & customer service department
• Lead & execute the Production Planning processes according to company standards.
• Drive continuous improvement to develop a world class Production Planning Team, processes, & results (including production delivery performance).

Material Planning Department
• Lead & execute the Material Planning processes according to company standards.
• Ensure the uninterrupted flow of raw materials to the production & efficient material supply to the production plants, warehouses, and customers.
• Lead the escalation topics and drive the material escalation process.
• Lead and/or follow up on Material Planning topics in all phases of the product cycle (development, pre-production, prototype, serial production, and past model service).

Profile recherché

Education : Bachelor’s Degree required in Business or Engineering

Experience:

• Experience in automotive industry desired
• 5 – 7 years’ experience (minimum) leading Materials Planning, Production Planning, Customer Service, Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse activities required (Must have direct experience leading at least 3 of these functional teams)
• 5 years’ experience (minimum) leading a SCM Team in a Toll manufacturing plant in Morocco

Training/Certifications:

• Lean Manufacturing – Lean toolset familiarity required, Lean Certified preferred.
• Six Sigma and/or Shainin certification is a plus.
• Forklift Safety
• APICS or equivalent professional certification is plus.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficient
• SAP or similar ERP system proficient
