Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Startup Experience Associate with a passion for startups and entrepreneurship to join our team at StartGate. As a Startup Experience Associate, you will play an essential role in driving the growth of the startup community within our dynamic ecosystem. Your focus will be on enhancing the startups' experience during their time at StartGate and our ecosystem, supporting and fostering their growth and success.
This includes engaging with startups to identify their needs, developing, and delivering tailored offerings, and promoting StartGate to the startup community.
Responsibilities:
This is a full-time job that includes the following responsibilities:
- Support in developing and maintaining strong relationships with startups.
- Develop and optimize tailored offerings for startups ensuring their relevance and alignment with startup needs.
- Regularly engage with startups to identify their needs and gather feedback and startup data to continuously improve the startup experience.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support in sourcing startups that align with the requirements of partners, programs, or other initiatives.
- Actively promote the StartGate offerings within the startup ecosystem through relevant channels (offline and online).
- Facilitate introductions and connections between startups and potential investors and partners within the StartGate network and beyond.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of programs, events, workshops, trainings, and initiatives aimed at supporting startup growth and success.
- Contribute to developing, creating, and collecting an engaging content, including articles, blog posts, social media posts, and videos, to promote Startups, StartGate, and its programs.
- Collaborate with the StartGate team members to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for monitoring and reporting startup activities, growth, and impact.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market insights, startup best practices, latest investments, and opportunities.
- Contribute to fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship through knowledge sharing and community building activities.

Qualification & skills:
To better do their job, the candidate is required to have the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- Prior experience with startups or in an entrepreneurial environment (incubators, or accelerator programs).
- Strong understanding of the startup ecosystem, including knowledge of key challenges and success factors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with startups and stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects, leading them from conception to completion.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities under tight deadlines
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and propose innovative solutions.
- Proficiency in English and French, both written and verbal.
