We are looking for an experienced Talend Developer to maintain and evolve a set of ETL jobs developed in Talend Open Studio. These jobs are critical to our data ecosystem, ensuring secure and compliant data exchanges between our internal systems, external partners, and Salesforce platform.
The role includes:
Enhancing and maintaining existing Talend jobs
Developing new ETL workflows
Managing delivery and deployment (manual process using JAR files and shell scripts on Linux)
Working with internal APIs and secure external APIs using OKTA-based authentication
You will work closely with our Salesforce team and internal IT to support a robust and compliant data exchange architecture.
Key Responsibilities :
Maintain and enhance Talend jobs for ETL processing.
Integrate with Salesforce (data import/export using Salesforce connectors and APIs)
Handle data transformations, cleansing, and GDPR-compliant data deletions.
Connect to various internal and external APIs (REST/JSON), using OAuth2/OKTA for authentication.
Package and deploy Talend jobs as JARs on Linux servers, scheduled via shell scripts
Monitor job performance and troubleshoot issues in production.
Write clear documentation for jobs, data flows, and deployment steps.
Collaborate with data governance and compliance teams.
Profile recherché
Required Skills & Experience:
4+ years of hands-on experience with Talend Data Integration
Experience in building and maintaining data pipelines connecting to Salesforce.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, including JSON processing.
Experience with OAuth2 authentication, particularly with OKTA.
Proficient in Java, especially in the context of Talend-generated code.
Familiar with Linux environments, bash scripting, and cron job scheduling.
Experience with data mapping, transformation, and validation.
English language skills.
Nice to Have :
Experience with Salesforce development (e.g. SOQL, metadata knowledge, or integration strategy)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and a vision for automating current manual delivery processes
Exposure to Talend Cloud or other ETL platforms

Good communication and documentation skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Salesforce, java, infrastructure)
