As Head of Venture Clienting, you will be instrumental in fostering and maintaining strong relationships with our key venture clients, driving growth, and ensuring client satisfaction at the highest level.

In this pivotal role, your primary objective will be to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for managing and expanding our portfolio of venture clients. This includes cultivating long-term relationships, anticipating client needs, and consistently exceeding expectations. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, strengthening our market position, and solidifying our reputation as a trusted partner within the venture capital landscape. A key focus will be on proactively identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities to enhance client value and to achieve significant contributions to the overall success of the company. You'll be instrumental in making sure that the voice of our clients resonates within the organization.

Your daily responsibilities will be multifaceted and demanding, requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on involvement. You will be responsible for leading a team of client relationship managers, mentoring, coaching, and providing support to help them achieve their goals and objectives.

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with venture clients.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement client relationship strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with venture clients.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of client relationship managers.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on client activities and progress.
  • Problem Solving: Effectively address and resolve client issues and concerns.

Profile recherché

To excel in this position, you must hold at minimum a Bac +5 or higher degree.

We are seeking an accomplished professional with a minimum of 10 to 20 years of experience in a client-facing role within the venture capital or a related industry. You must have a proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships, driving business growth, and exceeding client expectations. A demonstrable history of successful team leadership and a keen understanding of the complexities of the venture capital ecosystem is essential for success in this role. The most successful candidates will have a history of successfully navigating and resolving complex client issues and consistently exceeding targets.

Beyond the formal qualifications, certain key competencies are crucial for success in this demanding role. You should possess exceptional interpersonal skills, including effective communication, active listening, empathy, and relationship-building capabilities.
