Job Summary:

Network Intrusion Detection Systems (NIDS) play a crucial role in safeguarding computer/IOT networks against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats. As the complexity and volume of network traffic continue to grow, the traditional rule-based NIDS have shown limitations in adapting to emerging and evolving threats. Machine learning (ML) offers a promising approach to enhance NIDS by enabling the detection of anomalous patterns and the identification of new attack vectors.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Intrusion Detection Intelligent Systems Engineer to contribute to our cutting-edge projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing intelligent systems utilizing machine learning for network intrusion detection. If you have a passion for cybersecurity and a strong background in applying machine learning techniques to safeguard network environments, or you have a strong background in cybersecurity and passion for Machine Learning, we invite you to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement ML-based Security Solutions:
    • Design, develop, and implement security solutions that leverage machine learning algorithms to detect and respond to cyber threats in real-time.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning capabilities into existing security infrastructure.
  • Vulnerability Analysis and Threat Modeling:
    • Conduct thorough analysis of potential vulnerabilities in systems, applications, and networks.
    • Utilize machine learning models for threat modeling and risk assessment to enhance overall cybersecurity posture.
  • Incident Response and Forensics:
    • Actively participate in incident response activities, utilizing machine learning to identify patterns and anomalies in security events.
    • Conduct digital forensics to analyze and understand the scope and impact of security incidents.
  • Continuous Monitoring and Adaptive Defense:
    • Implement and maintain continuous monitoring systems that adapt to emerging threats through machine learning-driven analytics.
    • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in both cybersecurity and machine learning to enhance defensive capabilities.
  • Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:
    • Work closely with security analysts, data scientists, and IT teams to share knowledge and best practices.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Profile recherché

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity roles with a focus on threat detection and response.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CEH) and machine learning.
  • Experience with big data technologies and distributed computing.
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles and practices.
